Classical ballet is the basis for all forms of dance, yes, even hip-hop and tap, and enhances grace and elegance as well as strength and dexterity in the dancer.
In Classical Ballet, technique is one of the things that is concentrated on, and once the technique is mastered, other forms of dance are easy to master.

CONCERT – 1 class per age group – 30 mins – 45 mins#
For 2011, I have decided to have a separate concert class for each age group.
From past experience I have found, that as the concert draws closer, the classes are used to only practice concert dances, and exercises and technique get left out which affects the ability and performance of the students. Also it enables us to prepare for end of year exams.
There will be one concert class per age group and if the student wants to appear in the concert, this class must be attended.
Depending on what other classes the students attend, they will be put into dances that correspond with those classes.
ZUMBA – Children’s class and Adult’s classes available.
I will be adding Zumba classes in 2011.
You do not have to enrol in these classes as they are open to anyone whether they already attend Light of the World or not.
These classes will be priced differently to the other classes that we hold, as they are open classes.
PERFORMANCE GROUPS – By invitation only.
The students in the Performance Groups are invited by Donna to represent Light of the World at community events, competitions, and eisteddfods.
